The method

What drives the value of your company

Our estimate is based on real sector multiples, adjusted according to six criteria that make the difference between the bottom and the top of the range.

01

Profitability

The level and stability of your EBITDA over the last three financial years.

02

Revenue recurrence

Multi-year contracts, subscriptions, retention rate of your client portfolio.

03

Dependence on the owner

What happens if you are away for three months: this is often the first discount factor.

04

Client concentration

A client that accounts for 40% of revenue also weighs on the valuation.

05

Sector and region

Observed multiples vary significantly from one sector and region to another.

06

Quality of the team

An autonomous management team able to run the company is worth several points of multiple.

Confidentiality

No one needs to know you are considering it

Valuing your SME is a sensitive step. Three rules apply from the very first second.

No disclosure

Your information is never shared with intermediaries, third-party buyers or databases.

No solicitation

Neither your employees, nor your clients, nor your competitors are contacted. You alone decide what happens next.

Anonymous to start

The quick estimate requires no identifying information. You only identify yourself if you wish to.

Your questions

What business owners
ask before getting started

Is the estimate free?

Yes, at all three levels. The quick estimate and the detailed estimate are instant and free. The substantiated valuation, delivered within 48 hours by an analyst, is also free and involves no commitment on your part.

Is my data passed on to third parties?

Never. Your information is not shared with intermediaries, third-party buyers or databases, and does not feed any prospecting list.

What is the calculation based on?

On the multiples actually observed in your sector and region, applied to your EBITDA, then adjusted according to six criteria: profitability, revenue recurrence, dependence on the owner, client concentration, sector and region, and quality of the team.

Can I get an estimate without giving my company's name?

Yes. The quick estimate requires no identifying information: sector, revenue and profitability are enough. You only identify yourself if you choose to refine the estimate.

Am I obliged to sell after the estimate?

No. Most owners who use the tool are not selling: they want an order of magnitude before opening the discussion. No solicitation follows the estimate; you alone decide what happens next.

How does your estimate differ from an accountant's?

An accountant often values a business from the accounts and asset-based methods. We think in terms of a buyer's price: what a buyer is actually willing to pay today, based on comparable transactions. The two approaches are complementary and do not give the same figure.
